This easy little appetizer is the perfect transition between winter and spring. It is herby, fruity, and so visually appealing. It travels well in a bowl, so you can maximize the visual punch when you get to your family’s easter party and then completely knock your great aunt out when she gets to taste it. Serve alongside crackers or crostini and you're about to be the family chef so get ready!

Ingredients:
6 oz of feta cheese
4 ozs cream cheese
2 garlic cloves
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp fresh thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
6 oz of blackberries
.25 cup of honey
.5 cup of pistachios
Let's Assemble!

Essential Equipment
My dinner plates are the Anthropologie Briar dinner plates and they are unfortunately no longer available. These ones from Fable are similar and have great reviews!
My sauce pan is Saucy from Great Jones. I love it so much and use it everyday!
My immersion blender is from Smeg. So useful for soups and dips like this.
I got the ingredients for this recipe from my local Vons! Very accessible ingredients.
For the dip :
Add feta cheese, cream cheese, garlic cloves, olive oil, 1 tsp of thyme, salt, and pepper to a tall container (if using an immersion blender) or food processor.
Blend until smooth. Add to a plate or small bowl.
Add blackberries, honey, and 1 tsp of thyme to a sauté pan. Cook until they start to burst.
Pour blackberry mixture over the cheese mixture.
Chop pistachios, top the cheese and blackberries with the chopped pistachios.
Thank you for reading and cooking with me!
